Plant-wide paging without a central amplifier rack. The 100% non-blocking MCS-II master control station links SMART PA telephones, each with its own 30 W amplifier, for individual, zone and all-call paging plus private intercom. Telephone-grade cable runs up to 2000 m to each location, and up to 4 EPABX trunk lines patch in outside calls.
24 ports, expandable to 112 in multiples of 16
Up to 12 zones of up to 12 PA telephones; all-call up to 64 ports
Loops up to 2000 m on 0.5 mm 2-core twisted telephone cable
Amplifier in each PA telephone: no high-power amplifier, no 19 in rack
Up to 4 operator consoles and up to 4 EPABX trunk lines

Part of a system
Paging and private talk across a whole plant, in two architectures. MCS-II puts a 30 W amplifier in every PA telephone and needs no amplifier rack; MCS-III keeps line-powered phones in the field and drives 100 V loudspeaker lines from central 250 W amplifiers.
Up to 2000 m, on 0.5 mm 2-core twisted telephone cable.
A minimum of 24 ports, expandable up to 112 PA telephone ports, installed in multiples of 16.
No. Each SMART PA telephone carries its own amplifier, so there are no high-power amplifiers or relay-based loudspeaker controllers.
