Ideal for

  • Cement plants
  • Steel plants
  • Power generation facilities
  • Mines
  • Large and medium-scale industrial units

What it does

For plants that want line-powered phones in the field and the amplifiers in one rack. The 100% non-blocking MCS-III links SMART industrial telephones with PAGE and TALKBACK buttons, and switches 250 W paging amplifiers onto up to 12 loudspeaker lines. Field posts need no power; the amplifiers stay off until someone pages.

  1. 01

24 telephone ports, expandable to 112

  2. 02

Up to 12 loudspeaker zones with direct zone buttons on the console

  3. 03

One-button all-page and talkback from any field telephone

  4. 04

100 V line loudspeakers for long runs; no pre-amplifiers

  5. 05

Field telephones run on line voltage: no power at the post

  6. 06

Up to 4 operator consoles; patches into the plant EPABX

Part of a system

Plant PA system

Paging and private talk across a whole plant, in two architectures. MCS-II puts a 30 W amplifier in every PA telephone and needs no amplifier rack; MCS-III keeps line-powered phones in the field and drives 100 V loudspeaker lines from central 250 W amplifiers.

Questions

MCS-II or MCS-III?

MCS-II puts a 30 W amplifier in every PA telephone and needs no amplifier rack. MCS-III keeps line-powered phones in the field and drives 100 V loudspeaker lines from central 250 W amplifiers in up to 12 zones.

Can I mix in PA telephones?

Yes. SMART PA telephones can also be installed on the MCS-III for distributed-amplifier features.
